I painted this after learning from a friend that the four men and five Catholics appointed to the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade of January 22, 1973, deciding that women do not have the right to bodily autonomy in the States. Power and control. United States exploits it's citizens and Gaia, all while indoctrinating it's citizens to buy into the system and pay for it. Lee Krasner and Frida Kahlo knew and warned. Bought Culture prevails.
New Order calls for a revolution and healing of the sister wound created by the patriarchy, as it shows the anatomy of a clitoris. This painting is inspired by an illustration in a book titled Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski and the colors memorialize the BIOPC community that's suffering the most.
